The first week of PokeQuest has been completed and although there is still a lot to do I am off to a good start. Since my last post I have collected 26 Pokémon either through catching them in the wild, evolution, or receiving them in giveaways through mystery gift. In my travels I caught Snover, Pidgey, Haunter, Dedenne, Horsea, Slowpoke, Clamperl, Houndour, Shelmet, Staryu, Zangoose, Remoraid, Zigzagoon, Sawk, Geodude, Karrablast, Basculin, Magikarp, and Swirlix. Through evolution Remoraid became Octillery and Mantyke became Mantine. However, in order for Mantyke to evolve Remoraid had to be in my party when it levels up before it could have evolved. I received Zapdos, Moltres, Articuno, Yveltal, and Darkrai through different giveaways that were redeemed through mystery gift. Now I have 166 of the 721 Pokémon registered in my PokeDex in Pokémon X.

Right now I am only 23% towards getting all 721 Pokémon.  The good news is that I only need 38 more Generation 6 Pokémon; the bad news is that the majority of the Pokémon I still need to catch are from other generations. The remaining 517 Pokémon are from the five previous generations. To break it down I still need 108 from Gen 1, 80 from Gen 2, 111 from Gen 3, 94 from Gen 4, and 124 from Gen 5. I also do not own a copy of either Pokémon Black, White, Black 2, White 2, Alpha Sapphire, or Omega Ruby, but I will be getting a copy of Alpha Sapphire soon. The deciding factor in deciding which Gen 5 versions to get will be decided by which Pokémon that are exclusive to Pokémon Fire Red, Heart Gold, Omega Ruby, and Y that I cannot capture in any of the versions that I own, which are Pokémon Leaf Green, Soul Silver, (soon to be) Alpha Sapphire, and X. Fortunately I still have some time to figure that out.

Speaking of time, I know that I have promised to publish videos to go along with these post and they will be coming soon. I am still working out the logistics on how I want to record and what I will exactly talk about. But they are coming soon along with a better website layout. Until next time, the PokeQuest continues.
