This week I obtained 26 Pokémon bringing my total up to 386. I am going to try and keep a pace of 25 Pokémon a week until Sun and Moon come out. These Pokémon will be obtained using a combination of evolution, breeding, and catching in the wild.
I caught ten Pokémon this week. These Pokémon were Yanma, Sableye, Shuckle, Alomomola, Ursaring, Barboach, Chinchou, Dratini, Bellsprout, and Mareep. Dratini is going to be the cover Pokémon this week because it took some time finding and catching it with a Good Rod. Barboach, Chinchou, Dratini, Bellsprout, and Mareep all would evolve into other Pokemon. Barboach evolved into Whiscash at level 30. Chinchou evolved into Lanturn. Dratini evolved into Dragonair at level 30. Bellsprout evolved into Weepinbell at level 21. Weepinbell would then evolve into Victreebel with a Leaf Stone. Mareep evolved into Flaaffy at level 15. Then at level 30 Flaaffy evolved into Ampharos. There were two Pokémon that needed to know moves in order to evolve.
Both Lickitung and Piloswine needed to know certain moves in order to evolve. Lickitung needed to know Rollout to evolve into Lickilicky and Piloswine needed to know Ancient Power to evolve into Mamoswine. The only way to get these Pokémon to learn these moves was to take them to a move teacher and have them learn these moves because they had past the levels that they would have been able to obtain those moves. The teacher required a Heat Scale for each move and I found them in the wild. Then once they learned their required moves I had them level up one level and then they evolved. I also did some more breeding this week.
There were some Pokémon that were bred this week. Digleet came from Dugtrio. Hoothoot came from Noctowl. Aron came from Aggron. Finally, Smoochum came from Jynx. Also I received one Pokémon through mystery gift which was Victini. Victini is the Legendary Pokémon for September for the Pokémon 20 celebration. That is all the Pokémon I obtained this week but I should have some more stuff up next week. Until next week, the PokeQuest continues.
